The Himalayas are not just a landscape — they are a living system of forests, herbs, bees, and resilient communities who have stewarded this biodiversity for generations.
Himjoli was created to honour that relationship. We work directly with small farmers, women’s collectives, and nomadic beekeepers across Uttarakhand, Himachal, and Ladakh. Our products are mostly organic, always natural, minimally processed, and traceable to the specific villages and meadows they come from.
This is not just commerce. It is a quiet act of reciprocity — ensuring that the people who protect these mountains can continue to thrive on their land.
We believe flavour, nutrition and spirit are born from altitude, soil, and micro-climate. Every product carries the signature of its specific Himalayan origin.
Fair prices, long-term relationships, and decision-making power with the communities. Women-led enterprises and youth employment in mountain villages are central to our model.
We support organic and traditional practices that heal soil, protect pollinators, and preserve biodiversity. Packaging is minimal, reusable or compostable wherever possible.
The name Himjoli has long been associated with work in the Himalayan region through our non-profit initiative at himjoli.org. While that work continues to focus on community resilience, education, and ecological restoration, this brand (Himjoli) is a new commercial expression — bringing the pure produce of the mountains directly to conscious homes and thoughtful gifting.
A portion of proceeds from every purchase supports ongoing grassroots efforts in the same villages we source from.
